이 프로젝트는 만지지 않고는 아무것도 듣거나 보지 못하는, 완전히 촉각적인 조작에 의한 프로토타입 설치작업이다.
작가는 생성과 소멸이라는 주제와 관련된 인터페이스를 만들고 실험하길 원하며, 관람객에게 '촉각적인 조작'이라는 제스쳐를 통해 일종의 '놀이'(play)를 제공한다. 이 작업의 손과 손가락을 중심으로 한 인터페이스는 관람객으로 하여금 광센서와 버튼을 이용, 다양한 영상과 사운드의 재생, 확대, 축소(ZOOM IN & OUT)등 을 시키면서 여러 버전의 효과를 즐기고 체험하게 만든다.
This project is a prototype installation work operated by totally tangible operations, which we cannot hear and see except for touching. Artist want to have an experience that creates more effective interfaces related to the concept of appearance and disappearance. It offers to the viewer some kind of 'play' from the gesture of tangible operation.
This work proposes to test a relational form between the video and the viewer into the interface at any given time. It is an experience around the concept of touch, built on the relationship between viewer and film, through an effect of 'zoom in & out'.
